This special place has been owned by the Van Wegen family since 2001. What began as a beloved campsite and group accommodation grew, under the leadership of Nico and Hennie, into a green oasis in the heart of the Frisian landscape. With great love and attention for nature, tranquillity and hospitality, they laid the foundation for what Boetiekpark de Kas is today. The vegetable garden, the green character and the personal atmosphere are still visible results of that.
In 2024 the park got a new name and a renewed vision for the future. Under the name Boetiekpark de Kas, Han and Wietze van Wegen took over management. The group accommodation De Landerij was renovated and expanded, and the park gained new sustainable stays, including the characteristic Greenhouses. The atmospheric grape greenhouse was also added as a unique venue for gatherings, dinners, ceremonies and retreats.
Although Han and Wietze handle the rentals and guest communication from their main location Vakantiepark Eigen Wijze in Bant, Nico and Hennie still live at the park. They enjoy meeting guests and still like to contribute to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The park offers a stylish group building with 10 rooms and a large group space. In addition, various greenhouses and cabins have been realized, and there is room for camping around the vegetable garden for those who embrace outdoor living. Since 2024 the park has been renovated and made more sustainable.
This is a place for everyone who loves peace, nature and a great atmosphere. Whether you come with friends, a cozy family group, your family or just the two of you – you are warmly welcome. From small gatherings to a relaxing weekend away: we love creating a place where you feel at home right away.
The wonderful team at Boetiekpark de Kas takes care of cleaning, maintenance and check-in. Outside of check-in days, the parents of Wegen can be reached in person or by phone.
