Camping

Outdoor living and sleeping gives you the full experience when it comes to getting back to basics. You don't need much to enjoy what's there. Make your own campfire, grow vegetables in the kitchen garden or explore the beautiful nature. Discover the calm atmosphere of the low lands. The campsite is spaciously laid out with small, secluded pitches and larger fields.

 

The campsite field

The campsite field has room for 10 pitches for caravans, motorhomes and folding campers, which you can reserve here. There is also plenty of room on our field for spontaneous camping adventures with small tents. With the Zuiderzeeroute running behind our campsite, it is also ideal for hikers who want to camp spontaneously. 

At the campsite

Right behind the campsite runs "Het Voetpad"; a cycling and walking path that is part of the Zuiderzeeroute (LAW network). You can also get into a canoe directly behind the campsite and paddle through the area.

The Boetiekpark is located in a peaceful spot in Friesland, surrounded by the Rottige Meente and Weerribben nature reserves. You can enjoy wonderful walks and bike rides through the forests here.

Canoe trip Rottige Meente

Looking for a quiet alternative to the Weerribben-Wieden national park? Take a look at this beautiful SUP or canoe trip on the river Scheene in the Rottige Meente nature reserve. You paddle from the village of Scherpenzeel to the Pieter Stuyvesant road at the Oldetrijnster bridge, passing beautiful mills and locks.

In addition to the accompanying accommodations and camping spots, Boetiekpark de Kas also has a vegetable garden and fruit trees. You can put together your own meal by picking vegetables and helping to maintain the garden. Discover the simplicity of nature by truly experiencing it with all your senses.
